The Ndebele are a cultural group living in northeast South Africa. Their notable art of beading dates long back in history. They produce beadwork for small trinkets, intricate beaded trains, capes and aprons. An artwork like this one is based on the bridal train worn by Ndebele women in the early twentieth century.
