These exquisite hard wood stools are hand-carved from one single piece of wood by the Tonga people, a Bantu ethnic group of southern Zambia and neighbouring northern Zimbabwe. They were intended to be used by people as stools, symbolizing their status within the group.
These traditional nomadic stools can be used as low seating, occasional tables or as a table-top accessory. Gorgeous as cake stands too.
